Matt qualified as a Solicitor in 2024, following the successful completion of his training contract with the firm. Matt holds a first-class LLB in Law with Business and Management, and a MSc in Law and Business, with distinction.

Matt is an Accredited Police Station Representative and is willing to accept instructions for both Police Station and Magistrate Court matters. Matt’s strong legal knowledge, ability to articulate clearly, and caring demeanour make him a supportive and strong representative in times of high stress for his clients.

R v H [2022] – Acquittal following trial of a client charged with a domestic ABH. Counsel: Sapna Devi of Millenium Chambers.

R v S [2023] – Offer of No Evidence against an autistic youth client charged with sibling rape.

R v L [2023] – Acquittal following trial of a client charged with Section 18 GBH in a ‘hammer attack’. Counsel: Daniel Darnborough of Lamb Building Chambers.

R v P [2023] – Offer of No Evidence against a youth client charged with a second possession of bladed article offence (minimum 6-month prison sentence on conviction), following the service of a well-crafted Defence Case Statement.
